Review of Finding Dory (2016) by Kayla H — 01 Dec 2016
In Pixar's long awaited sequel to "Finding Nemo, "Finding Dory" delivers laugh after laugh in an emotionally driven movie fit for the entire family. The story chronicles a hilarious blue-tang fish who lives in the sea and suffers from short term memory loss , voiced by Ellen Degeneres.
The film shares her story as she travels land and sea in search of her long-lost parents. The film brings back several key characters from "Finding Nemo", and also introduces several new quirky, fun-loving characters.
As Dory travels in search of her parents she learns a lot about life, love, friendship, and perseverance. Although an animated film, the on screen chemistry between the characters is superb. Degeneres delivers an excellent, emotional performance, all while keeping everyone laughing.
Kids and adults alike will enjoy the roller coaster of emotions, and the nonstop laughs. The animated film provides great visual, and and has a major attention to detail during the underwater scenes Kids of today and me fellow 90's kids will enjoy this movie, and always remember to "Just Keep Swimming".
