Review of Finding Dory (2016) by Kristina W — 01 Dec 2016
The animated sequel "Finding Dory" is a fun-filled movie for all ages to enjoy. The beautiful colors and realism of the animation is in true Disney style, magical. Children will be enchanted with the adventure while adults will enjoy the addition of jokes just for them.
The story picks up one year from where its award-winning predecessor "Finding Nemo" ends. The forgetful blue tang Dory, voiced by Ellen DeGeneres, has a flashback from her childhood and realizes that she wants to find her long lost parents before she forgets again.
Dory brings along some of her favorites like Nemo, Marlin, and Crush from the original 'Nemo' cast for the quest to find her family. Along her journey the viewers get introduced to new lovable characters such as Hank, the ill-tempered octopus with only seven tentacles, who helps Dory navigate through the many obstacles she faces.
"Finding Dory" teaches us that even though we all have weaknesses of some kind, always being optimistic and working together can accomplish our goals in life. This heart-felt movie is full of adventure and laughs form the beginning to the end.
"Finding Dory" is delightful, entertaining, and a sequel that deserves to be watched.
