Disney convinces us that uniqueness, charm, and perseverance are why Dory will find her family, though, the inevitable seems out of reach enough times throughout the film, leading to an exceptional payoff.
Dory finds friends along the way in the form of seals, a loon, whales, an octopus, and some otters. 8/10.
