Review of Finding Dory (2016) by Stephen Y — 16 Mar 2017
Regardless of how the movie turned out, parents were going to take their kids and all the young adults were going to see it for the nostalgia. And watching Finding Dory definitely felt like the movie makers knew that all too well.
"Lazy" is perhaps the best word to describe the sequel. Whereas Finding Nemo felt like the creators actually had fun writing the story, Finding Dory just felt like an old-fashioned money grab in the form of a movie.
Sure the characters were adorable and there were "aww" moments, but I expected more from Pixar.
