Actually saw this on HD Net before it released. Surprisingly good. Glad to see Broderick can still find a role that doesn't cast him as an idiot. Nice work, particularly by him. Good writing, smooth direction.
Does not break down into typical bottoming out addict tale- rapid decent into booze or pills, personal nadir, happy ending of hope. Not great, but not bad.
