Review of Find Me Guilty (2006) by Zac M — 13 Mar 2009
A bizarrely charming film. It does the best job of getting me to root for the bad guys I've seen in any film since "Thank You For Smoking." Vin Diesel, given a chance to play something other than a musclebound thug communicating in monosyllables, really does well as an overweight thug communicating in mildly insulting but earnest speeches.
There are a few problems with the film, but most of them stem from the titanic task of crunching down a years-long trial into a two hour film. Overall, quite fun and even moving at points.
