If I wrote this when I still loved anime and was in junior high, or sophomore in high school. I would have wrote how awesome and how this is the best movie ever... Since I finally went through puberty and matured over years and really learned to appreciate movies of all kinds for what they are.
I will say this is just a pretty movie... Past the visuals you don't have much to offer, I believe someone has said "a pc game with out interactions" and I couldn't agree more. This movie feels like nothing more than a long in game cinematic with out game play.
It had opportunity to strike new ground, but missed and struck the foot.
