Review of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children (2005) by Brody R — 13 Oct 2012
The only redeeming things about Advent Children are the special effects and solid computer animation, which is all the movie really offers entertainment-wise. Even as a fan of the game it is based off of, I find this film to be convoluted and devoid of any sort of humanistic qualities.
Overall, it is a pathetic attempt to revive a beloved video game and merge its iconic and memorable characters with incomprehensible dialogue and a nonsense plot.
