Review of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001) by Clayton B — 30 Jun 2009
Even after all these years, no one has tried to make a film with realistic computer generated characters that was actually created for adults, and not for 14-year-olds (Beowulf). It's a shame that this failed miserably at the box office; Shrek did a million times better than this and it was released the same year, so it proves hat we are unable to accept new and philosophical ideas in popular computer animated films rated above G, and are used to the same junk constantly.
