Review of Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (2001) by Michael R — 19 Jan 2009

OK movie...didn't quite live up to the hype. The animation was fantastic, very fluid. It at times looked realistic, but it kept a surreal look throughout. The characters were entertaining enough, but the story itself was flat.

I really liked the concept they had for the aliens, but I was hoping they would have done more with that.
