Review of Final Destination 5 (2011) by Andrew H — 08 Nov 2012
This film doesn't do much of anything that is new to the series. So anybody who's seen any of the previous films know what they're getting themselves into. The deaths are truly gruesome and cringe-inducing and will definitely have some people thinking twice about joining the gymnastics team or getting laser-eye surgery, for example.
The last 20 minutes of this film is what truly separates itself from the other four films and contains a (dumb-but-fun) little twist near the end-credits for long time fans. Like the other four films, this addition is all in good fun and is definitely one of the stronger entries in the franchise.
I know I had fun watching it and, if you're a fan of the other films, you will too.
