Review of Final Destination 3 (2006) by Mike A — 14 Feb 2010
When you make a 3rd movie with pretty much the same concept as the first 2 movies, it gets kind of old. Somehow, those who work on this series know that they have to change things up a bit.
I'm not going into the plot that much. It's pretty much the same thing, a teen has a vision of an accident, gets some people off, accident happens, everybody dies. That's original. This one just happens on a rollercoaster instead of on a plane or on a highway.
Even with the recycled plot, this is actually my favorite in this series. I actually like the idea of using a rollercoaster as the setting for a huge accident. The opening credits scene was pretty cool with all the uses of carnival things.
Yeah, the plot's the same, a couple things are changed, but it's suffices.
