The acting in the film was not very good but what do you expect from a bunch of then-teeny boppers? The story had some promise but it just did not hold up at all. Kerr Smith trying to play a tough guy is like Adam Sandler trying to play a football player.
The ending was OK but not great. I still cannot believe they made a crap load of sequels to this film.
