Review of Final Destination (2000) by Baurushan J — 05 Apr 2012
The story starts off with Alex as his whole class are on a trip to Paris with his class. When he has a vision of the plane exploding, he gets off with six other survivors who later find out that Alex is right.
But that's not the end for them as they soon embark on their most dangerous and final mission of their lives: cheating death. Lead actor Devon Sawa made quite a breakthrough with this film and I wish to see him in more movies like this.
I also recognized a few other actors as well: Ali Larter from Resident Evil 3 and 4 as Claire Redfield, Seann William Scott as Steven Stifler in the beloved American Pie franchise and horror great Tony Todd as Bludworth from Transformers 2 voicing The Fallen.
This movie had a soundtrack, set of characters, storyline, atmosphere, and mise-en-scene that worked as strong as steel which is better than it's sequels. Final Destination gets a 8.4/10.
