Review of Final Destination (2000) by Ben H — 18 May 2013
Final Destination is a really interesting film. It's got an interesting premise and is also very original. The film focuses on a group of high school students who are taking a trip to Paris and one of the students has a premonition about the plane exploding in midair.
After he and a group of fellow students are taken out of the plane, the plane explodes, though the other students who left early survive. Death than starts to kill off each student who was supposed to die on the plane, in the order they were supposed to die.
The death scenes are absolutely well executed, while the plane explosion is realistic and the special effects involved in it are well done. The film ends ambiguously, though on a great note with possible future events to occur.
