Review of Final Destination (2000) by Maineutral R — 13 Jul 2014
I loved this movie as a kid/13 year old, this one and it's sequels (which I will review next) were one of my favorites at the time. I kind of forgot these movies existed for a while (really well done if you forget all about it right?) Of course I see now what a piece of garbage it is and now I'm almost embarrassed to say I enjoyed it.
It is so painfully written I wouldn't be surprised if the actors cried while saying their lines. You really can't blame the actors though for all of the poor performances... all they had to go off of what James Wong calls a "script".
You'd think with a movie so original it'll at least be fun? hahahahhaha.... right? There's no time to get to know any of the characters since it's so rushed so none of them are enjoyable or entertaining or have any development for that matter.
