Review of Final Destination 2 (2003) by Spazzy M — 13 Aug 2011
This is where we start to dive into humourous horror. The cast this time around is a little more likeable, and the plot points are a tad improved; but the suspense of the first lacks. Nice added touch with the "ripple" effect, of how these new characters' lives were altered from the first group from flight 180.
Also enjoyed the few premonitions "gone wrong" where they end up causing more harm than preventing. The deaths are more exposed, and the beginning car pile up that sets it all in motion is pretty awesome.
Loses the eerie, suspenseful nature of the first, and seems too short, as if everything was rushed to be capped off. An entertaining sequel nonetheless.
