Review of Final Destination 2 (2003) by Dann M — 03 Mar 2012
"On the highway to hell..." Final Destination 2 is a fun and exciting film that delivers a ton of thrills. It starts with a spectacular highway car crash sequence and continues with a series of increasingly tantalizing and suspenseful kill scenes as Death's design plays out.
Ali Larter and Tony Todd return and are joined by a strong cast that includes A.J. Cook and Keegan Connor Tracy. Director David R. Ellis has a good feel for the material and is able to balance the horror and the comedy while providing the right amount of story to keep the film moving without getting too convoluted.
Final Destination 2 is great thriller that exceeds the first film and is wildly entertaining.
