Review of Final Destination 2 (2003) by Ridge T — 23 Oct 2012
To me, Final Destination 2 was a solid sequel. It had another intriguing story kinda different from part 1. So in this one, were introduced to Kimberly, her friends and some other strangers all on highway going to god knows where.
She suddenly has a vision of a huge pile up and it kills everyone. She saves herself and the strangers but not before her friends get smashed by a passing transfer truck, sorry guys. So, to figure out what's really going on, she finds help in Clear Rivers, the only surviving character from the doomed Flight 180.
Then Tony Todd, thank you. They suddenly realize that death is working backwards, killing the characters backwards just to be clear. And that every character in the movie was somehow connected to the people in the first movie and if it weren't for them dying in the first movie, everyone in the 2nd one would not be alive.
So death is back to tie up loose ends. Like, I said before, Final Destination 2 is a solid sequel not letting up on the gore, interesting story, again Tony Todd, and an overall good movie experience. Even though it isn't good as the first, it's still very good and for that 5/5.
