Final Destination 2 is an impressive sequel that delivers the same goods as its predecessor the only big difference is that this movie is a lot more different than its predecessor because it has several things that were not in its predecessor and this movie is just as good as its predecessor.

I remember this was my first Final Destination film before I've watched the sequels I was 7 or 8 when I saw this movie and this is the film that kept me interested from watching the Final Destination trilogy and seeing it back in my early times it freaked me out and seeing it now as a teenager it still freaked me out.

This movie is about a new teenager name Kimberly who has a premonition that there's gonna be a highway pile up accident in the highway they're going to drive in. After Kimberly saves the group she soon learns that death is still coming for them and it is up to Kimberly to save the group in order to beat death once and for all.

I seriously had a good time watching this film and I've seen this movie many times when I was a kid and I'm still surprised by it although when Final Destination 5 showed in theaters it is already my new favorite Final Destination film but I still like this one and its predecessor and this movie can satisfy a lot of gorehounds and tension freaks as well.

What's great about this movie is that this film has a haunting concept like its predecessor and it is also gothic at the same time although it isn't dark as Final Destination 5 but this movie is still entertaining as its predecessor overall.

What I also like about this film is that this movie is totally over the top and Director David Ellis does a unique job to make a good Horror film and his directing is really stylish and comprehensive when he seriously made this movie.

Unlike its predecessor Final Destination 2 is over the top on the suspense and the gore and brutality as well while the first one is suspenceful and scary at the exact same time part 2 is so over the top on its suspense, tension, gore and brutality which I totally enjoyed in the film.

What I also like about this movie is that the film is full of gory kills that are way more gorier than its predecessor. The highway pile up accident is one of the goriest and the most brutal opening scene in the film and the opening scene of this movie is totally over the top on the suspense and gore along with the brutality as well which I totally enjoyed in the movie.

Evan Lewis' death is probably the most haunting death scene in that film and that death scene was so over the top on the suspense and gore as well and I did like the way his eyes get impaled from the ladders in the fire escape the gore was so well used in that scene and the gore is totally over the top in that scene so far.

Tim Carpenter's death in the film where he gets crushed by a glass is probably the most brutal death scene in the film so far. Nora Carpenter's death in the film where her head gets decapitated by the elevator doors is probably the most graphic part of the film and that death scene is so over the top on the gore and suspense as well and it is the most tense death scene in the film.

Keegan Connor Tracy's death in the film where her head gets impaled by a sharp metal pipe is the most intense death scene in the film. Rory's death scene is the goriest death scene in the film next to Evan Lewis' death scene and that scene is totally over the top on the gore and brutality just like Evan Lewis' death scene.

While Eugene Dix and Clear Rivers' deaths aren't nearly as gory and brutal as the rest of the deaths in the film it's still an inventive kill scene. And the barbecue kill scene where Brian gets blown up is probably the most over the top kill in the film and I did like the idea that his arm is placed on his mother's plate its like death wants Brian's mom to eat Brian's hands for lunch that was totally an impressive idea for the finale of the film so far.

Now the acting is great the performances of the casts did a really good job with their work in the film. A.J. Cook did a good job with her role in the movie as the protagonist Kimberly Corman and she's so pretty and gorgeous at the same time and I love her beautiful look in the movie not only her acting but her looks in the movie is really good so far.

Ali Larter once again did a good job with reprising her role as Clear Rivers in this movie while the rests of the casts did a good job with their roles in the movie so far. Director David Ellis did a wonderful job with his work in this movie and his stylish, amateur and comprehensive directing really impressed me just like James Wong's directing in the original Final Destination I just felt bad that he went down the hill and then he died on January 2013 after he directed his last two Horror movies which is the fourth Final Destination film which was so awful due to the use of too much CGI and unscary death scenes even his work on Shark Night is even worse than his work on the fourth Final Destination film I just wished that Ellis made one last Horror movie before he passed away.

I was also proud with Eric Bress' writing in this movie and I think he and David Ellis did a wonderful job with their work in the film so far and they both did a good job in making a good Horror movie so far.

Overall Final Destination 2 gets a 10/10 because this movie has the same feel as its predecessor but the big difference is that this movie is totally over the top from the suspense to the gore and brutality of the film.

I highly recommend this movie for any Horror fan if they want to watch a film that is over the top on everything.
