Translated into spanish as "The memory of the dead" it seems to me Robin Williams is so interested making these flicks about kids and about the dead/ after life, it's just amazing how far he tries to go finding different ways to open everyone's mind to what's next. I actually think Robin is on real life a great person, but that's another story.

On this film the writer/director tries to go far from us but the fact is he remains a bit far from where he wishes to be and doesn't allow the story to grow up as it should. M. Night. Shyamalan could tell him a few things about how this cut could have been made better.

There are 2 main lines on 1 conversation between Williams and James Caviziezel that explain the whole movie.

1.- "One in 20 of these people has an implant from Eye Tech. There is no way to measure the effect the implant has had on the way people relate to each other". (Each implant allows a computer to see a complete life on audio and image from birth to death).

2.- Caviezel asks Williams: "Why is your name the 1st on the list for cutting scumbags and lowlifes?" "Because I forgive people long after they can be punished for their sins" "I Know what you do. Why do you do it?" "Do you know what a Sin Eater is?" "You take murderers and make them saints".

3 | 3 1/2. An interesting film.
