Review of Final Cut (1989) by Sven T — 11 Apr 2010
Interesting premise, although I doubt we'll have wooden keyboards in the "future". The twist at the end regarding the boyhood flashback was decent, but the move was had two issues that just made me think "straight to DVD": 1.
The fact that the editors are called "cutters", I don't know why, but that just seemed cheesy and 2. speaking of cheesy, the anti cutter people with their weird facial scarring and tattoos was just plain ridiculous.
Oh yes, and the ending sucked... well, that isn't fair because I fell asleep and only vaguely remember the ending. Then again, the mere fact that I fell asleep before my bedtime is indicative of a bad ending.
