Review of Final Cut (1989) by Dan B — 04 Sep 2011
Sci-fi thriller in Philip K. Dick territory, with the futuristic element restricted to one piece of technology that forms the basis for some quasi-philosophical musings about memory. It doesnâ(TM)t do as much with the premise as it might have done (maybe it needed a Cronenberg), but itâ(TM)s quite stylish and far from unwatchable, though you may find yourself making a better movie in your own mind out of the same material.
