Review of Filth (2013) by Jason K — 21 May 2015
While the Surrealist take is a bit too heavy-handed, James McAvoy goes for broke in the leading role. In the end, you get a very rude and raunchy depiction of rage, grief and depression through an off kilter and stylistic frame. It works.
