Review of Filth (2013) by Ming Siu G — 12 Mar 2014
Filth rubs its sleazy dirt all over your face, cackling madly all the while. It's sick, twisted, but also very funny at times, and James McAvoy makes a horrible main character strangely fascinating, like you're watching a train wreck.
The final act is a tad too abrupt and neat, and sometimes it gets tiring, but at least it's a breath of foul, filthy air at the cineplex, and different from your usual crap.
