Ultra intense. neat imagery. a lot of hate for the lead, but that's fun too. the gilliam-esque moments were a highly appreciated departure from the norm as well. I guess I docked a star because I wasn't that moved by the direction the narrative took.
it's a bit like bad lieutenant meets brazil. still, a great watch.
