Review of Filmgore (1983) by Carl M — 30 May 2011
A collection of the most violent films ever made hosted by a 1983 version of Elvira (God that rack is still unbelievable after all these years) turned out to be a major disappointment. The film clocks in around 2 hours, but the version I unfortunately got my hands on was only an hour and 6 minutes.
From what I could tell it's very much like Elvira's show. She hosts a number of clips from certain films like Blood Feast, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Driller Killer, 2001 Maniacs and so on. It's stuff I've seen before from other horror compilations except this was boring.
