I feel like "Fight Club" is a much more exciting movie to watch if you want to see one about underground streetfighting. That said, unlike "Fight Club", I actually thought that some of the "bad" acting lent more credibility to the movie and the sub-culture that it portrays.
I also liked the wrestling aspect of the background story between Shawn and Evan.
