Why did Terrence Howard speak with some awkward speech impediment/accent from another planet? There were so many small problems with this movie that they overcrowded what could have been a passable film.
The 70's flavored soundtrack felt extremely out of place and the acting was so cardboard you felt like this movie could end at any second only a half hour in. And that's what it should have done - the movie is so repetitive and there's no payoff whatsoever for forcing us to watch these gritty fights again and again.
Howard should be ashamed - I still have no clue why he sounded like an alien trying to imitate a brooklyn man ho......It was beyond annoying.
