Review of Fighting (2009) by Abel B — 05 Jun 2010

This movie could have been better. I was holding out waiting for it to improve. no such luck. I love everybody in the cast. it just did not gel for me. as far as the genre it has a lot to live up to as a film.

this is a story about a street fighter (tatum) who catches the eye and the backing of a hustler (howard). r.g. smith is fantastic as always with cold eyes squinting at everybody. tatum had a few good moments but was kind of boring to me.

I did not like the camera work on the fight scenes. and I did not like the fight scenes that much anyway. the rest of the story especially the side love interest part was not interesting. oh well.
