Review of Fight Life (2012) by Manuel G — 30 Mar 2012
By following some of the top MMA Fighters in the world like Jake Shields, Nick Diaz, Gilbert Melendez, and Lyle Beehrbom, the documentary Fight Life by James Feng gives us a better understanding of the sport of Mixed Martial Arts. Over the course of three years, the audience gets a chance to see how fighters pour their blood, sweat, and tears training, in hopes of one day reaching their dream of becoming not only a champion and but one of the best fighters in the world. I loved how the film shows a fighters struggle not only in training but beyond the cage as well. This Film is perfect for an audience of both MMA Fanatics as well as for those not too familiar with this sport. I recommend this film to everyone seeing as how this film as it is one of the best sports documentaries I have seen in a very long time. Congratulations to Director James Feng, along with his cast and crew and may others enjoy the film as much as I did!
