Review of Fight Club (1999) by Archie S — 09 Nov 2014
This is not a movie. This isn't even a great movie. This is an experience, and from the moment it starts to when Pixies finish playing at the end, every second of it keeps you hooked and intrigued, and that isn't because of the fighting.
Everything in it is unique from anything else, especially the Narrator and Tyler Durden, who are some of the best characters put to cinema. Definitely the best movie of 1999, and probably the best of the decade, because it's about everything in the average man's life from that era and speaks to not only it's generation, but every generation to come, including me, only being born the year it was released.
I could go on forever about it, but I digress. Basically, it is one of the best movies I've seen in everything. Story, characters, style, humour etc. And my personal favourite movie of all time.
