Review of Fight Club (1999) by Trevor R — 05 Apr 2014
"Fight Club" features two sublime performances from Edward Norton and Brad Pitt. I'm just not sure the movie itself is as clever or as subversive as it needs to be (or, perhaps, thinks it is), and the ending feels problematic upon reflection.
It's still very well made, and wickedly funny.
