Review of Fight Club (1999) by Alison C — 21 Feb 2015

Can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet. I love this movie. It's brilliant. I love its sense of humor and its style. And I love what it has to say about society. Most of it anyway. The movie makes a point to show that there is a line of going too far.

But watching this movie makes me feel like it's totally okay that I don't have a pretty, expensive apartment filled with "normal" expensive furniture. I like how it challenges what the media and society tells us is "normal".

Among countless other little commentaries. I don't think it's saying we should burn all of our possessions and start a terrorist organization. I think it's just giving you a reality check of your perspective of the world.
