Review of Fight Club (1999) by Danny O — 04 Jul 2015

Fight Club is an excellent movie. It's unique and crazy, but so well made. Fincher's direction is perfect, he really crafts a memorable and thrilling movie. The plot is much more complex than you may believe, but is expertly told.

The acting from Norton and Pitt is superb, they do so well in their roles. It is consistently engaging and surprises viewers at every turn. The plot twist at the end is fantastic, and completely took me by surprise.

All technical aspects of this movie are perfect, from the sound editing to the look of the movie. The writing Is so quotable and surprisingly funny. The interesting thing about this movie is how much it has to say about our consumer based society.

We've all wanted to quit our jobs and do whatever we want, it's a fun concept to watch. This is a perfect movie that is very well made, written, and executed. It has great characters and is nothing like anything I've ever seen before.

It is a smart blockbuster that is entirely memorable and quotable. Fight Club gets 5/5 stars (A+).
