Review of Fight Club (1999) by Benjamin K — 11 Jul 2015
This film has done what so many films lack. It's made me think. My mind was asking so many questions through this film. Yeah fuck working and living into the trap that is society, I want to be free! But does pure freedom without society make me happy? Do I need society? The battle between Ed norton and Brad Pitt is not only a character battle, it's a metaphor for the battle it has created in my mind and I know others will understand.
People who don't, I appreciate this film probably doesn't appeal to you. I.e the pompous, ignorant and pretentious 'critics' that can only look at the shell of this masterpiece.
