The acting is very good in "Fight Club", the screenplay is very good in "Fight Club", and the direction is very good in "Fight Club". But the movie, the darkly satirical story that it is, attempts to say something about society using its violence- which doesn't work.
The violence is simply too much, which is the major flaw of this film. It is admirable in what it tries to do, and it succeeds in some instances, but in others, it is simply too much.
