Not as terrible as I thought it would be but not exactly great. I suspect it is better if you have read the book first, perhaps it deals with the sped up character and relationship development and fills in plot holes.

She is a little odd, like the weird library girl with glasses.....Christian is seriously messed up in the head....many films have ludicrously rich guys going into secret rooms, turning on the lights and they have state of the art tech for taking down bad guys....but Mr Grey's room has floggers and butt plugs......
