Review of Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) by Hendry L — 13 Feb 2017

Suffice it to say it's not as good as the book, but the filmmakers did a very good job of providing the expected amount of romance, nudity, luxury, and sexuality for this film to live up to the hype.

As the supreme love story of our time it is fitting that this treatment is slick, superficial, and above all safe. It doesn't break any new ground artistically but it faithfully animates the innocent Anastasia Steele and the mysteriously sexy Christian Grey for the big screen.
