Review of Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) by Mike W — 12 Jul 2015

Ok, the movie wasn't the worst thing I've ever seen. But it became something of a joke. Christian as played by Jamie Dornan seemed like a pedantic little geek from high school who never got laid but now has a lot of money and is trying to get laid as much as possible-- perhaps trying to make up for lost time.

Dakota Johnson is cute-- that's about it. She didn't seem to portray Anastasia as in the book. I agree with other reviewers that there simply was zero chemistry between the two making for a long banal movie.
