Well let's just say curiosity never does quite kill the cat, I actually sat through the uncut version whatever that means. Was this as bad as people described it as? No. Am I deeply disturbed by Christian Grey? Yes.

Is it because whips and chains don't excite me? Not at all. We're told to fall in love with him, to sympathise with his somewhat cold exterior as if it's a cute human flaw we can all grow to adore, we're supposed to root for him and Anastasia to work things out but all I can see is a manipulative cretin that can't take no for an answer.

This reeks, strongly. If the tone of the movie was observing Grey 's attitude as wrong I could be more understanding.
