I loved this film. It was funny and sexy, and that's what a gal just needs now and then. The two leads were so much like the characters in the book, and the plot followed right along. I particularly liked the shots of (fake) genitalia and the sendup of the hero's sexual prowess -- with a possible explanation for the tastes of the hero of the original.
It's not for everyone -- white guys might pass , but to me, it was just what I wanted. Not politically correct, BTW. Which is why it was funny. Imagine a whip called "12 Years a Slave" alongside "LeBron.
