I feel like the key elements for this story from the book are lost, and that reflects on the plot and overall atmosphere of the movie. If you haven't read the book you will get nothing out of this movie, and it will probably make no sense.

They cut some parts of a story for the sake of another media, but it wasn't done as a structured story. This movie feels like a rushed porno version of the book story of Christian and Anastasia. Could have been done so much better.
