Review of Fifty Dead Men Walking (2008) by Andrew W — 21 Feb 2009
One of the better films I've seen this year, up there with Slumdog Millionaire and the Wrestler, I thoroughly enjoyed the performances of Sturgess and Kingsley, both who were fantastic, especially Kingsley who's role is probably the best he's been in quite a few years.
A gripping tale based on a true story, it really helps you understand and grasp what was going on in Northern Ireland, and doesn't baby you with niceties. Recommend this to anyone who enjoys a great drama, and of course, loads of Irish accents.
