Review of Fifty Dead Men Walking (2008) by Will D — 18 Sep 2009
Perhaps I'd be more forgiving had I not seen In The Name of the Father or Hunger (both of which are excellent). It reduced serious events and atrocities to a mere action film, and I could detect little depth in any of these characters.
The pacing is all off... it takes place over many months but all that time rushes past too quickly. Terrible soundtrack too.
