Review of Fifty Dead Men Walking (2008) by Ed I — 07 Mar 2010
50 Dead Men Walking (2008) - "The price of a conscious is death... none of us can afford it." - Fergus (Ben Kingsley).
The tale of Martin McGartland's (Jim Sturgess) infiltration into the Irish Republican Army and his rise in their ranks as an informer for the British Government during the worst of the conflict.
An action movie with the edge of an industrial bread knife, the sudden brutality of a heavy-weight boxing match, and the awful suspense of a horror-movie.
Sturgess and Kinglsey are a terrific match.
