Review of Fifty Dead Men Walking (2008) by Judge L — 25 Mar 2010
Well done movie....Very good acting by Jim Sturgess. The film makers did a wonderful job turning 2008 Belfast into 1988 Belfast; it is a great city!
They say you don't know what a man has been through until you walk a mile in his shoes...Well without walking that mile in Martin McGartland's shoes I will just say he is a traitor to his people!
I do not condone all the violence that has taken place throughout the struggle for a unified Ireland, but I do understand the reason behind it.
Ireland would be far better without the Brits.
People really had a hard time understanding the actors???
One review even said they wanted to watch it with English subtitles...HAHA!! I guess if your 2nd or possibly 3rd language is English you may have a hard time understanding them.
