Review of Fifty Dead Men Walking (2008) by Bryce H — 04 Jun 2011
Fifty Dead Men Walking is well done movie, with good performances and a great script. What really grabs the audiences attention with this movie is that it's based on a true story. Jim Sturgess did an excellent job with his performance, definitely his best movie.
What is there negative to say about Ben Kingsleys performance? NOTHING, Kingsley was great. The opening scene definitely grabs your attention and makes you want to pay attention for the rest of the movie.
Fifty Dead Men Walking is directed very well, giving that grittiness look to the picture. This style of directing adds to the story even more, making it seem a little darker. Fifty Dead Men Walking gives an extremely good look at the IRA and will have your attention from start to finish.
