Another in the Esther Williams catalog. Fiesta is Ricardo Montalban's film debut! Esther and Ricardo portray Maria and Mario, the twin children of a famous matador. Maria wants to bullfight, Mario is expected to, but his passion is music.
Maria masquerading as Mario fights in the arena. Eventually her father figures it all out and Mario follows his passion for music. The movie also features Cyd Charisse and the song La Bamba, later famously associated with Ritchie Valens.
