It's definitely an entertaining film, but the biggest problems "field of dreams" has, is it's lack of drama. the stakes never feel high enough, and annie just accepts all the crazy things her husband, ray, wants to do.
on top of that, when something bizarre occurs, no one is all that surprised. I would have liked a bigger reaction to their being "ghosts" on the baseball field. instead of "where did all these ball players come from?", how about, "what the hell is going on!?!".
